Peacefully on 19th. May 2009 in the care of St. Margaret’s Nursing Home, Doug, aged 82 years of Healing. Loving husband of Joan, dear father of Norman, Jim, Martin, Bernard, Marion, Jeanette, Elaine and Edwin and father in law to Caroline, Alison and Pete, very dear grandfather of Polly, Charlotte, Claire, Sarah, Darren, Alistair, Rosie, Andrew, Rachael, Fiona, Oliver, Joseph, James and Jack and great grandfather of Emma, Thomas, Danny and Emily; a dear uncle and great uncle and good friend to many. Funeral service in the church of St. Peter and St. Paul, Healing on Friday 29th. May 2009 at 11.00 a.m. followed by interment in the churchyard.
