"Hey Young Man! You will be so sadly missed. Im going to miss our long chats about absolutley nothing and who can I whinge too about the women now... We had some good laughs together. I always felt so close to you you was the Grandad I needed to have in my life. I know we wasnt blood but I loved you like you was. Im so happy you are finally re-united with Annie like Kerry said we know you two will bw dancng again but you will have to find a new place to hide your favourite tipple. Always Remembered

Peacefully on 7th May 2008 in the Diana, Princess of Wales Hospital, Grimsby following a short illness and surrounded by his loving family Alfred aged 85 years. The beloved husband of the late Annie, loving dad of Barry and father in law of Susan, cherished granddad of Sarah-Jane, Laura, Kerry, David and Farhad, great granddad of Chloe and Joshua, very dear brother of Becky and brother in law of Fred, and a good friend to many. Funeral service and committal to be held in the Grimsby Crematorium on Thursday 15th May 2008 at 10.20am. Floral tributes in memory of Alfred will be received by:-
