"To my Dad I cant believe you have gone. I guess it will take a while. I'm gonna miss you so much listening to you talking about your lorry and how busy your night was even though I know sometimes you were home in an hour. Your excitement for fishing that I never understood. I still don't know why you need a bread punch when you have fingers to squash it with. I guess that's why the one time you took me fishing we were back home within an hour because I needed the toilet and refused to go behind the bush. I was only about 8 you said you would never take me fishing again and you didn't. Thank you for always being there for me through good and bad and helping me raise Tia into the little madam she is today. You have always been the number 1 man in my life and always will be. I love you so much. Your always loving daughter Kelly xxx"

Suddenly on 30th December 2007 Ted aged 52 years of South Killingholme. The loving and much loved partner of Linda, dearly loved dad of Katrina, Claire and Kelly, cherished granddad of Kallum, Jordan and Tia, a loved son, brother, brother in law and uncle and the good friend of many. Funeral service and committal to be held in the Grimsby Crematorium on Tuesday 8th January 2008 at 3.40pm. Floral tributes in memory of Ted will be received by:-
