"Hello Grandad! Its your youngest Grand-daughter your little Clarabelle! I miss you so much you were taken without a chance to see you smile one more time to tell me one more story from your past and it hurts. You were my idol the man I looked up and no man will ever compare to you. Walking in to your workshop without you in there was so strange. Made this all real and broke my heart even more. Your place of ease is so cold without you I wanted more than anything just to see you behind your work bench covered in saw dust! I am sorry I wasnt here for you more that I was so far away. Please understand why I didnt come and say one last goodbye but it was just to difficult to leave you again. I love you so much and will think about you everyday. You have left me some of the most amazing memorys and I will cherish them always. Thank you. Goodnight sleep easy! Nos da! Love and Kisses Clarabelle x x x x x x"

It is with great sadness that we announce that John passed away on 15th December 2007, after a short illness, aged 79 years. Much loved and devoted husband of Dot, loving and proud dad of Diane, much respected father in law of Robert, treasured granddad of David, Laura, Clare and Kyla and the doting grandpa of Joseph.
A proud Welshman and local Cabinet Maker who will be dearly missed by all.
Funeral service and committal to be held in the Grimsby Crematorium on Friday 21st December 2007 at 3.40pm. No flowers please by request, donations in memory of John will be gratefully received by St. Andrews Hospice, Peaks Lane, Grimsby, DN32 9RP. All enquiries to:-
