Alex's family will create a lasting eMorial for him.


"Alex I didn’t know Alex for all his life I just married one of the three most precious people in his life I remember when we first moved to Australia and Jackie found it hard to adjust and wanted to go back. Alex came all the way over to Australia and one Monday morning he came down with his squash racket and asked Jackie where the nearest squash club was. He spent the whole week down there coaching everyone who would listen. That week Jackie found life long friends and became an Australian. Alex definitely had a full life and Daniel Thomas and Dayna all listen intently as Jackie recalls her life as a child and the stories her father told. Alex we will miss you but when I shut my eyes I will always see you riding that beautiful Arabian horse or teaching someone to play squash "

Peacefully on 1st December 2007, after a short illness, and surrounded by his loving family at his home in Humberston, Alex aged 88 years. The devoted and much loved husband of Jean, loving dad of Janie, Jackie and Denny, father in law of Rob, Martin and Reg and a special granddad of Daniel, Thomas, Ashley, Dayna, Leanne, Alex and Craig. Funeral service and committal to be held in the Grimsby Crematorium on Monday 10th December 2007 at 10.20am. No flowers please by request, donations in memory of Alex will be gratefully received by The Blue Cross, c/o Julie Donn, The Blue Cross Animal Hospital, Coco Markus House, Nelson Street, Grimsby, DN32 7SH.
