"Dear David and family It is Tuesday November13th 8:00AM in Baltimore my heart goes out to you all I so wish I could have been with you now to say good bye to Gay. She was a very special friend who took me under her wing when I left Wales to live in Grimsby in 1979.Over the years we shared tears and much much laughter. She started off as being my Badmington coach and went on to become a work colleague at Grimsby College inn 1987. When I left Grimsby in 1999 to live in Baltimore we promised that we would stay in touch this promise was kept. I know Gay that you will be with us always you touched so many lives . Keep smiling! Love Annie"

Peacefully on 7th November 2007 at her home in Grimsby, Gay, aged 66 years. Cherished wife of David and widow of the late Peter and Ron, dearly loved mammy of Stephen and Liam and mother to Keith; very dear to Martin and Robert, the dear sister of Pat and loved and missed by all her family and many friends. Gay will be received into the Church of St. Pius X, Chelmsford Avenue on Monday 12th November 2007 at 5.00pm. A Requiem Mass will take place there on Tuesday 13th November at 1.00pm, followed by a private interment. Donations in lieu of floral tributes will be gratefully received by Ward A1 Trust Fund, c/o Sister Dzialowski, Ward A1, Diana Princess of Wales, Hospital, Grimsby, DN33 2BA. All enquiries to:-
