Message: Gaye was a valued member of the car ambulance service of the Tees East North Yorkshire Ambulance Service. She transported many patients to various hospitals where she met many other drivers and staff like myself. She had a quality about her no doubt reflecting her Irish background which endeared her to those she met a sense of humour which you noticed and appreciated and a warmth which affected I am sure all who met her and allowed her to perform her duties in a way which helped all she met. Everyone liked and admired her and we grieve for her loss with all those who knew and loved her. God Bless you Gay.

It is Tuesday November13th 8:00AM in Baltimore my heart goes out to you all I so wish I could have been with you now to say good bye to Gay. She was a very special friend who took me under her wing when I left Wales to live in Grimsby in 1979.Over the years we shared tears and much much laughter. She started off as being my Badmington coach and went on to become a work colleague at Grimsby College inn 1987. When I left Grimsby in 1999 to live in Baltimore we promised that we would stay in touch this promise was kept.
I know Gay that you will be with us always you touched so many lives .
Keep smiling! Love Annie
